Do I need any prior to Fly/parasail?

Absolutely not! If you can sit, you can fly.

How do I get into and out of the boat?

Our custom built boats will allow smooth and easy take-offs and Landings. Each parasailor will slowly lift off the flight deck of the boat from a sitting position, a dip in the water is optional and recommended, but take-off and landings is always from the boat.

Is there a price difference if two or more people fly together?

The prices are all the same per person. Whether you fly solo or with someone are per person. We always do our best to accommodate your requests, but safety is our number one priority.

Can two or more people fly together?

Can people go in the boat to watch?

Yes as long as we have space available, for a nominal fee we will take family and friends along to take part in the fun. Please keep in mind that parasailors always have first priority. Choose your observers carefully… the captain often allows them to decide how wet your dip will be.

Do we have to be able to swim?

No. All take-off and landings are done from the flight deck of the boat.

In the unlikely event of a mechanical failure or malfunction all participants are required to wear life jackets while parasailing. Anyone can fly including the young, old and physically challenged. We are happy to accommodate everyone; if you can sit, you can fly.

Is there an age or weight requirement?

Anyone can fly. We have had as young as 2yrs and as old as 92yrs fly with us.

Although participants under the age of 18yrs must have a parent or guardian to sign the liability waiver prior to boarding the vessel.

Minimum weight required is 100lbs, if the flyer is less than that, they will fly tandem with someone else not to exceed 450 - 500lbs combined weight.

Our licensed captains use their expertise and knowledge based solely on the wind conditions to make the final decisions.

Again safety is our number one priority.

Do we have to run on the beach?

No. Forget about crazy stories you make have heard in the past, state of the art winch boat technology allows for the takeoff and landing to be hydraulically controlled taking place from the flight deck of the boat. Our boats are USCG and TCI maritime inspected and custom built specifically for parasailing.

What if I am pregnant?

Unfortunately our insurance will not allow anyone that is pregnant to parasail or even go on the boat as an observer. You are welcomed to come back and fly with us on a later date.

What if I have back or spinal injuries?

Unfortunately due the bumpiness of the boat ride we do not suggest you parasail or ride along as an observer.

What happens If the boat stops suddenly?

To ensure this never happens, we insist on a rigorous maintenance program for all our equipment. In the unlikely event of problems with the boat or towline, the parasail would gently float down and you would gently land in the water and be retrieved by another vessel in our fleet. Again you are never in any danger, worst case scenario is that you get wet.

Can we take a camera in the boat or up in the air?

Please feel free to bring a camera or video camera on the boat. However we only allow waterproof or disposable cameras up in the flight, for obvious reasons and at your own risk.

Our photographer captures the best moments as you relax and enjoy the experience. Packages can be split among several participants.

Do I ever touch the water?

The entire experience can be completely dry, if requested we will provide a "dip" in which we simply lower the parasail toward the water which allows you to have just your foot or up to your bottom touch the water. You will then be lifted back up and continue the ride as usual. This is definitely recommended.

When is the best time to go parasailing?

Early mornings are best! We all like to sleep on vacation but you can't beat morning flights. Winter temperatures are in the low to mid 80s and summer temperatures are in the high 80s to mid 90s. In the mornings Provo's north coast is calm, winds are mild and there is minimal boat traffic. By going early, it provides for a better photo opportunity as you don't have to shoot into the sun. And best of all… the marine life is at its best. You have a great chance of seeing dolphins, sea turtles and rays.

What happens if the line breaks?

The line is designed to withstand 5000lbs of pressure. The average parasail rides only produces 800lbs of drag. It is very uncommon for the line to break. If it does, you are never in any danger as the parasail will slowly and gently bring the parasailors to the water. The parasail is designed to land in the water behind the parasailors, never on top of them. Your lifejacket will allow you to comfortably float and the boat will immediately pick you up. This is referred to as "plan B". This ride can never be bought.

Are reservations recommended?

Yes due to the popularity of parasailing and the limited space available, we suggest making your reservations 1 or 2 days in advance. In the winter season we are often booked up two days in advance.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours notice of cancellation for a complete refund.
