On a standard flight, you share the boat with other guests booked that day. A private charter reserves the entire boat exclusively for your group, so you set the pace, choose who flies together, and aren’t waiting on strangers’ turns.
How many people can come on a private charter?
Each boat can hold up to 12 guests, though we recommend a max of 10 for everyone’s comfort on board. Flying is available as single, tandem, or triple rides depending on group size, weather, and combined weight — non-flying guests are welcome to come along and watch.
What’s included with a 2-hour charter?
Drinks and snacks are included with every 2-hour private charter, on top of your dedicated boat, crew, and flight time.
How long is a private charter?
Charters are available in 1-hour and 2-hour blocks. The 2-hour option is popular with larger groups since it allows more riders, more flights per person, and a more relaxed pace.
Where does the charter depart from?
Charters are based out of Turtle Cove Marina in Providenciales, with convenient pickup available from all resorts and beach access points along Grace Bay Beach.
Can we add snorkeling or a beach stop?
A snorkeling stop over the reef can be added to your charter — just bring your own mask, snorkel, and fins, since we don’t carry rental equipment on board. Ask about adding a beach stop when you book.
How far in advance should we book a private charter?
Since a private charter reserves the entire boat, we recommend booking as early as possible — especially during peak season (December–April) and around holidays.
Is a deposit required?
A Visa, MasterCard, or Amex is required to hold your reservation. Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice receive a full refund.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Captain Marvin’s never flies in unsafe conditions. If your charter is affected by weather, we’ll reschedule or issue a full refund.
